NY1US XLX181 DMR Programming Guide
South Wales, NY · How to reach each XLX181 module from your DMR radio
Two Ways onto XLX181
- Bridged talkgroup: key up a TGIF or AMCOMM talkgroup that is permanently bridged to an XLX181 module. Easiest option.
- Direct to XLX181: point your hotspot at the XLX_181 master and pick a module by private call. Works for every module, including A and E.
All channels on this page use Color Code 1 and Timeslot 2.

Hotspot settings (Pi‑Star, WPSD, etc.)

- XLX Startup Module: B (or any module you prefer)
- XLX Master Enable: On
- Color Code: 1
Radio programming
- Talk channel: TS2 TG6 (group call)
- Change module: private call 4001–4008 on TS2 (key briefly, release, then return to TG6)
